2 weddings with 2,5h of sleep in between, a preview
The past weekend was a killer fysically but mentally it was hugely satisfieng !!!
On Friday I shot the wedding of Karina & Bruno, who both live in the Dominican Republic. Bruno has his roots in Gent and they decided to get married here. It was a fan-tastic wedding under a clear blue sky, and ended with a midnight shoot in down town Gent that Bruno arranged as a surprise for Karina.
After our midnight shoot, where I was assisted by Sofie (thx a million Sofie !!!) I drove back home to charge my camera’s batteries, copy my CF cards, backup the photos, sleep a little over 2hours & get back up to drive towards Aarsele to shoot Kim & Joram’s wedding.
A beautifull couple, great weather & loads of fun family & friends made the day a blast ! Together with camera guy Vinny I had a great time shooting their dream day. Tonight my bed welcomed me with open arms & after 12h of well deserved sleep I am now proud to show you some photos from the past weekend.

‘t Viel me al op bij de verlovinsfoto’s…Joram: mijn neef is je dubbelganger!!! Als je hem zou zien zou je denken dat hij je tweelingsbroer is…héél bizar, maar wel grappig!
De foto’s zijn wederom fantastisch en de nachtelijke shoot mag dan veel van je energie hebben “opgefret”, maar ‘t resultaat is werkelijk super…ben superbenieuwd naar de rest!

Ik kijk al een aantal weken mee op je blog en wil je even een heel groot compliment geven. Je foto’s zijn werkelijk prachtig! Zo puur, normaal en ongedwongen.
Helaas heb ik al een fotograaf voor mijn eigen bruiloft maar als ik je eerder gevonden had was je zeker in aanmerking gekomen. Ik blijf met plezier regelmatig op je site kijken en wie weet zal ik je ooit nog eens benaderen om een mooie shoot van mij en partner maken.

Los van je inzet en je enthousiasme, zijn je foto’s zeer goed. Vooral voor het werk dat je in de reportages steekt en de resultaten heb ik veel bewondering.
De afwerking is niet altijd mijn ding. Het gebruik van vignettering en soms wat zware bewerking kan ik minder smaken. Zonde.
Ben benieuwd naar de rest
Geweldige foto’s Pieter, maar we zijn natuurlijk niet anders gewend hé. Die avondfoto’s geven toch een fantastische sfeer weer.
