After a few weeks of being ill & a heavy case of the flue it’s time to show you some new photos
Today I chose Els & Kevin’s wedding from the big stack of “already processed but still to post on the blog-weddings”
Enjoy their warm love & happiness on these less sunny days.

Wow, what a weekend
Saturday I shot an amazing wedding, Saturday evening I drove to Amsterdam (in the Netherlands) to attend the première of the snowboard movie “Basic Stuff”, then I slept three hours before heading to Belgium Digital Live, a big photography event, where Bert Stephani & me presented 2 workshops to over 125people. I’ll probably be posting a report later this week.
To satisfy your hunger for more images (for now) I dove into my huge stack of not-yet-blogged-shoots. Tonight I’m presenting you to Kim & Wim who asked me to shoot an L-Style session so they could decorate their new home with cool images. As location they chose for Antwerp, where we made a long walk that produced the images below as a result. Enjoy !

When I was editting Liesbeth & Ben’s wedding today, I suddenly realised I still hadn’t shown you their engagement session! A couple of months ago I shot their civil wedding in Mechelen. Once they where officially married & we could legally call them husband & wife, we went for a walk through Mechelen to shoot their engagement session (yes, I’m aware of the irony of shooting their engagement session moments after they got married :p )
I’ve shot in Mechelen on multiple occasions and it keeps surprising me every time! It’s a city filled with fun corners, great buildings, cute squares. Add to that Liesbeth & Ben and you get a really entertaining walk with some awesome shots as a result !
Soon I’ll be showing you their wedding images, but for now enjoy their engagement session !

I hope your airco is still on stand-by, because although the temperature outside has become bearable again, this wedding preview from Sarie & Nicolas’ wedding will, without a doubt, make the room temperature rise a few degrees
For now I’ll let my images tell the story, I’ll tell you the story when I put their slideshow online
(teasers : Aalst, carnaval, old acquaintances
)
Enjoy !

Apparently my blogging frequency went way down this year, in part because of a busy summer & also because I decided to enjoy a few music festivals & a couple of mini-vacations. Last year I shot almost 50 weddings and at the end of 2008 I was very close to burning out. I give myself 100% on each and every wedding and that takes a toll on both your mind & your body. This year I’m making more time for myself & my friends and I like it
This summer I went to Rock Werchter, went to France for a week to shoot the Ultimate Snowboarding Summer Camp (I’ll be posting the pics later on) and I attended Feest in het Park for 4 days. I had the best of times & enjoyed every minute of it!
Enjoy life people, it’s way to short!
This way of living seems to irritate some people : I recently got an email from a colleague informing me that some people are posting untrue stories about me on certain internet fora … That’s not something fun to hear, but instead of letting it get to me I decided to take it as a signal that I must be doing a good job since I’m making people jealous
It’s actually a shame for those people that are wasting their time writing these things about me, instead of spending their time on their own photography/friends/family, but hey, thank you for spending that free time on me
Enough about all that, I’m guessing you are all here to see some wedding images
so let me present you to the amazing Isabelle & Filip. I’m meeting them again tomorrow afternoon when they’ll be picking up their slideshow, but today I’m already showing you all a short preview!
Their wedding was a home game for me : their civil ceremony took place in the town hall of Erpe-Mere & their Christian ceremony was in the church in Mere. It was a big luxury to arrive at the brides home after only 3 minutes of driving & to be able to drive to every location that day while blindfolded
I’m shooting quite a lot of weddings in Antwerpen, Limburg, West-Vlaanderen where I need my gps for every move we make. Well, not that day
I hope you all like the results, and from now on I’ll be trying to blog at least once a week, hopefully even more !
