1am, it’s as good a time as any to make a blog post
Kelly & Erik are getting married next Friday & I’ll be there to preserve their precious memories, yeehaah !
The reason of this post’s weird title is that I kept calling Erik “Frederik” (I was editting the wedding of Kelly & Frederik at the time, hence the confusion). We made a game out of it and started calling each other the craziest names :-).
Kelly & Erik, thank you for a very fun afternoon & the drinks afterwards ! I’ll see you on Friday !
It’s been a couple of weeks since Jeffrey came by to pick up his Ann and drive here in an open charriot, underneath a clear blue sky, towards the town hall in Wetteren to seal their relationship.
The ceremonie in city hall was “different” … The lady that conducted the ceremonie was really negative about everything that surrounded marriage and told them everything they needed to know in case they would want to break up … Personally I don’t think that’s appropriate on such a day !
She used to be a judge in a former life and boy did she make that clear
Luckily after that we drove to a nearby church for a beautifull ceremony filled with sweet moments, lots off love & very nice music so we all immediately forgot about the morning ceremony.
After the fotoshoot & reception in Pauwkenshof we said our goodbyes & they went on to party all night long
Ann & Jeffrey : thank you very, very much for a great day !
And now click fast below to watch their super slideshow !!
Thomas, a very promissing photography student, and his wife-to-be Joke are getting married one of these weeks.
Unfortunately I won’t be the one shooting their wedding but they chose me to shoot their engagement session. Quite an honour !!
It was a gray & rainy day with not much beautifull light to work with, so we where forced to walk around looking for the rare patch of light. Luckily they where very fun to be around, we had a blast that afternoon !
Joke & Thomas, thank you for chosing me to shoot your engagement session. I hope you like the results !
Thomas is joining me to shoot a wedding together in the near future, so one of these months you’ll find some of his great images on my blog
Last week you where all able to enjoy the slideshow of Cindy & Simon’s wedding.
As some of you might have noticed, there weren’t to many images from their wedding shoot in the slideshow. There was a good reason for that : we simply didn’t have the time on their wedding day .
I decided to pitch the idea of a shoot on the beach to them and maybe get a little wet while we where at it. They loved the idea and the rest is history .
Personally I’m a huge fan of mr Fotofolio himself : Tom (Musseeuw). We met recently during a study day organised by the Belgian Federation of professional photographers, where I was giving a workshop together with Bert Stephani and we had loads of fun Ever since that day I wanted to work together with Tom on a photo shoot, so I contacted him to see if he was interested to shoot together at the Belgian coast : Tom was very enthousiastic about the whole idea so a couple of weeks ago Cindy & Simon, Tom and his good looking, very fun girlfriend Karen and me met in Ostend, ready for a fun evening of shooting.
Tom impressed me on multiple occasions with some very, very impressive photos and to be honest, I felt quite honored to be able to work together on a shoot. His enthousiasm & crazy fun behaviour are a guarantee for truckloads of fun. He’s a true “portable party” .
Add a well trained photographic eye, a great technique and some strong communication skills and you’ve got the perfect recipe for some delicious results !!!

Tom invited his good friend Yvan Yvan (more about him in the second part), and Didier joined us to film this special event. Thanks a lot Didier for making the time & doing most of the editting on the video !
I think I typed more then enough already … The results of this never-to-forget evening will be on this blog soon, together with the second part of the movie. Below you can already take a look at what went on that evening . Stay tuned for more & I’m looking forward to reading your comments !
