Sunday, 12 o’clock, I’m feeling a lot better and that’s a good thing ’cause today is the first day of Aalst Carnaval (something like the American Martigras)
.
My costume is ready and I can’t wait to start partying, but first I want to present you the slideshow of the last wedding I got to shoot in 2007, the wedding of Natascha & Marco.
Natascha & Marco, thank you for letting me be part of your beautifull wedding day ! I wish you both a wonderfull & happy life together !

The wedding of Natascha & Marco was my final wedding of 2007. It was a beautifull day, the ponds where still frozen & there was still some snow left here and there. All in all the best winter day one could hope for !
It was a wonderfull day in the company of a radiant, fun couple together with their friends & relatives.
Natascha & Marco, below you can find a small selection of your photo’s, de slideshow will be online soon !
greetz from a sick photographer who’s been staying in bed for the past couple of days.

Last Sunday I was able to stay close to home, Gent to be precise.
Gent is a city that I know pretty well, but in a town that big there’s always something new to discover, as we would find out that day.
During our journey through Gent we discovered some really cool spots, which, mixed with a realy cool couple, made taking nice photo’s easy
.
Thomas & Sofie, thank you very much for a pleasant afternoon & the delicious chocolates !!!
I hope you like the photo’s & I’m already looking forward to your wedding day !

- If your PocketWizard turns itself off 10 seconds after you turned it on, don’t start smacking it against a wall because you think there’s a faulty wire … just replace the batteries …
- When you climb on the side of a rooftop, put down your camera first, it makes keeping your balance easier … 4 stories is a long way down …
- Mechelen, against all expectations, has a very nice & old downtown area
- Baggy pants are really convient, you can fit a flash, a pocketwizard, batteries & extra CF cards, your wallet, cellphone & carkeys in there : eat that, jeans !
And to finish this post, may I introduce you to the 2 beautifull couples I’ve gotten to know better this past weekend : Nele & Mart and Katelijne & Nicolas. More about them the next week(s) !
And now, onto the next weekend !

I was planning on posting the long awaited slideshow of the wedding of Lore & Ashish today, but I changed my mind after checking my mail … Apparently today is Filiep’s birthday & since they are both really looking forward to seeing the results of our hike through Brussels, I thought this would be the best gift I could give them.
Sarah & Filiep, you guys are a wonderfull couple and 2 incredible human beings. It was a true pleasure to be able to get to know you & I’m impatiently awaiting your wedding day !
The circumstances where’nt ideal at all, but you where amazing (and I’m sure we gave the security guard of the parking garage something fun to watch at for a little while
)
