Tonight my father asked me when I would finally post something new on my blog … I’m sure he’s not the only one asking himself that
Am I on a vacation ? Heh, I wish … At the moment my days are filled with post-processing weddings & finishing the last phase of the secret project. The mountain of unfinished weddings is getting smaller & the secret project will be unveiled in a couple of weeks, so don’t worry, my posting frequency will rise again soon

Because I don’t want to leave you guys waiting another few weeks for a new post, I want to introduce you in this post to An, Kristof and the star of the day : Lenn.

An called me recently to ask me if I wanted to come by and take some shots of their young born, the 10 weeks old Lenn. To be honest I saw Lenn once before, be it hidden away in An’s belly on the wedding of Lieven & Lee .
Earlier this week the big day had come and I met Lenn, born, alive & well and he didn’t disappoint !
An & Kristof, thank you for the very warm reception ! It was very nice getting to know you guys !

As a photographer I specialize in weddings, but since I got a taste of these types of shoots, I want to to more of them

Tonight I’m meeting with Annelies & Gregory to show them the final result of their wedding shoot. Maybe this little preview might help them temper their curiousity for a couple of hours more

Yesterday & today, Canon organised it’s EOS Discovery Days in Anderlecht, near Brussels. The complete Canon L-lens assortment, the new 5D Mark II & some more goodies would be present. But that’s not all … Bert (Stephani) was also invited by Canon to present his workshop their for all to attend. Reason enough for Tom, Thomas, Lies & myself to organise a road trip. My report of the day is below in between the photos. I can already tell you that it was one hell of a day

Canon had a team at the event that cleaned 1D-series cameras. I used the opportunity to have my 1D Mark III cleaned. Tom on the other hand was so jealous that he decided to clean his Nikon camera himself …

After Bert’s workshop we said our goodbyes to the many friends & collegues and we went to the Ikea in Ternat for a nice & fun dinner. I didn’t take any photos there but Tom & Thomas did. I’m sure you’ll see their results on their blogs pretty soon, although I’m not sure if I should be really happy with that .

It was an incredibly fun-packed day, very nice to see so many friends & colleagues again & it was just what I needed to recharge my batteries. Thanks Thomas, Tom, Didier, Lies, Jef, Bert, Erika, Isabel, Jean and the many others ! I hope to see you all again very soon !

A sunny morning, somewhere in Flanders. A bride getting ready for her big day, pridely getting in her dress that her mother so lovingly made for her, while impatiently awaiting the arrival of her prince charming.

That’s how the story of Kelly & Erik’s big day started. It was a very relaxed day, even so relaxed that we kinda lost track of time and had little time left for their foto session. But, we finished it with style & two minutes to spare .

I kind remember the exact name of the chapel where their ceremony took place, but it was a perfect location for a marriage ceremony. It might have been a little crowded, at one certain moment I was standing in the closet of the chapel in order to take some photos

They created a beautifull, personal ceremony ! Erik’s wedding vows where so honest & straight from the hart that it really touched all of the people present, including myself.

Once again, a marriage I’ll remember for a long, long time ! Thank you Kelly & Erik !!!

No sun here this morning in Belgium, but what I can give you is a preview from the amazing wedding from Kelly & Eric .

A collection of really cool people & and amazing couple, what more could a photographer want ? A little, romantic church ? Check ! Great light in between the rain showers ? Check ! They had it all
