Lifting off while being in love & landing as 2 engaged lovers, that’s how the wedding tale of Els & Wim started.

Many, many preparations later their big day had come. The day where they would become married instead of engaged.

Their day had it all : a beautifull couple, a great family, lots of friends and even some familiar faces. It so happens that Wim is the cousin of Stefaan, who’s wedding I shot a couple of months ago.

Wim had a lot of fun in his dream car that day : a Porsche Carrera. Following the bride & groom around was a little harder than usual It so happens that my Peugeot 407 was no match for the raw power of the Porsche

After their civil ceremony in Oosterzele, their photoshoot in Breivelde and their Christian ceremony it was party time !!! After a very fun evening and a swinging opening dance I said my goodbyes to the bride & groom, their many friends & family while they continued to party till the early hours

I’m pretty sure I’ll remember Els & Wim’s wedding for a very long time as one of the most moist weddings in years. Nope, not because of the rain, but I must have sweat at lest 5 liters that day … It was very hot outside & the church felt like a maxi-sauna ! Nonetheless, Els & Wim’s wedding day was through the roof !

Such an amazing couple with all their great friends & family : for those kinda people I’m willing to sweat like a pig every day !

A while ago I drove down to Schaffen on a Sunday morning in the pouring rain, to shoot Rosalien & Gilles. They where having their wedding party in Hof te Rhode and we decided to shoot their photos in the beautifull garden and in the vicinity of the venue.

Just after they arrived it stopped raining & we could go out and play .

I still have 10 minutes or so before we gotta leave to see Coldplay live in Antwerp later tonight. Since it has been pretty silent on my blog the last couple of days I wanted to quickly introduce you all to Sofie & Francis.
Next Saturday I’ll be the lucky photographer to shoot their wedding, and recently we got to know each other a little better during their engagement session in Antwerp.

During our hike through Antwerp we found some cool spots and you can all see the results below

Sofie & Francis, thank you very much for the guided tour of Antwerp, I quickly forgot about my painfull feet when we enjoyed a cool drink afterwards
