Yes I’m on a work holiday in France at the moment but I decided to take the time and write this quick blogpost while sipping some non-alcoholic refreshments on a sunny terras in Les Deux Alpes I’m here to do some snowboarding & supply ultimate-snowboarding.com with some behind the scenes images of their Summer Camp and do a magazine shoot with a well known female Belgian snowboarder. So is it a vacation? Well is sure feels like one

But on to the slideshow, since that’s probably what you are all here for I had a real blast shooting Janick & Dany’s wedding! 2 great people who like to laugh & make fun & above all, love each other What more can a wedding photographer want ? They also hired a videographer that day, Steven from videoroyal.be, who happens to be a friend of mine, so that was double fun

Since Dany is in a wheel chair, a “classic” first dance was kinda hard, so they asked me if I could make a slideshow instead. Of course I was happy to oblige and during the reception I made them a slideshow using images from earlier that day & their engagement session. It’s really cool to see so many people watch (and love ) the photos I just took a couple of hours ago!!!

Man oh man, time does fly! Veronique & Maarten have been married for more than a month already! All the more reason to refresh their memories of this wonderfull day by posting this preview

I met a very good looking Maarten at de Snip in Moorsel, we took an old timer party bus to pick up the radiant & beautiful bride Veronique, ate some, drank some, had the civil ceremony in the town hall of Haaltert, drove to their christian ceremony in the church of Nieuwerkerken & than drove back to de Snip to start their kick-ass party : that was Maarten & Veronique’s wedding day in a nuttshell

The old abandonned factory Schotte near Aalst is a pretty popular photo location. I’ve been there multiple times, so you’d think I would know that location by now. No sir ! This location is really huge & so overgrown by gras, weed & trees that it’s not so easy to unravel all of it’s secrets. After taking some shots on some of the more known spots we decided to take it one step further Fearlessly Sara & Koen followed me between trees & mountains of rubble, looking for idyllic, still undiscovered locations. I’m happy to say our search paid off

Sara & Koen, thank you for the super fun afternoon, you guys where a-mazing !
