The Kluisberg in Kluisbergen, can’t be too hard to find right ? So that’s where we decided to meet up. The exact adress wasn’t known to me … I soon found out that my GPS didn’t seem to know the Kluisberg either : oops ! I decided to take my chances and just drove around. Just when I thought I found it I got a call from Steven asking where I was. Hmmm, apparently not the right street
All of a sudden I hear someone saying in the background “hey look !” when Steven spoke the magical words : “Hey Pieter, apparently you’re standing in front of us”.
Thank you back-window advertising
Now that we found each other it was time to get our adventure started. Luckily the woods weren’t very dry that evening, because pretty soon sparks where flying all over the place !
Lieselot & Steven, you where amazing ! Thank you for the very fun evening & I’ll see you guys soon on your big day !

Quite a while ago I received a very nice email from Bert & Tatiana. They where looking for a wedding photographer but since they where living abroad, meeting up would be nearly impossible.
After exchanging some emails they decided to hire me as their photographer for their big day. Since I hadn’t met them yet I was very much looking forward to their engagement session. A little while ago that day had come : they where in Belgium for a couple of days & decided to free up a couple of hours to meet up & shoot their engagement session before hopping back on a plane to Quatar.
I have to admit it, they didn’t disappoint !!!! In the company of this really nice & fun couple I took a walk through the Begijnhof in Leuven, stopping every now & then to shoot some nice photos
Now & than I ask my couples to share their story about how they actually became a couple : where did they meet, how, etc It’s awesome to hear so many stories & discover that you can really meet your husband- or wife-to-be at the most unexpected places or moments in time.
Since I had a hunch that Bert & Tatiana’s story would be a special one (a nice Belgian guy meets a beautifull Russian girl in Quatar …) I just had to ask them
Are you curious about how they met ? Well, if they give me their permission I might share it all of you when I post their wedding pictures on my blog in a couple of months
For now, please enjoy this awesome copule and the photos of our adventures in Leuven !

On a Sunday morning, very early (is there a part of a Sunday that’s not considered early ?
) I arrived at Gaëlle & Peter’s place in Gent.
We had a long walk through Gent planned to look for some cool locations to shoot the e-session of this amazing couple. We had a blast & have some really cool shots to prove it!
Gaëlle & Peter, I hope you guys had as much fun as I did, because I had a blast ! You guys where amazing & I’m really looking forward to your wedding day !

We had to postpone Ruth & Pieter’s engagement session once before due to bad weather, so I was very much looking forward to our new rendez-vous ! They predicted bad weather in the afternoon so we decided to make an early start at 9 am.
Lady Luck was smiling upon us that day & we went for it !
We didn’t really decide on a fixed location to shoot so we just walked around a bit looking for some cool spots.
Ruth & Pieter, thanks for a super fun walk through Bruge ! You are 2 amazing people and I’m sure youre wedding day will be a blast !!!!

Last week I found myself in Brasschaat to shoot the engagement session of Annabel & Werner. They really outdid themselves and found 5 locations to shoot :-).
I must say their locations where amazing ! The combination of this radiant couple, the awesome locations and a beautifull sunny day created a lot of fireworks in front of my lens that afternoon
.
Annabel & Werner, thank you for the warm welcome & the super fun afternoon ! You where a true inspiration & I am very much looking forward to your wedding day !
