As some of you might already know, I recently started a new project with fellow photographer & friend Bert Stephani : LIME. For LIME we make (among other things) one movie each week, and I posted my first engagement session video online last week.

Because a lot of couples are wondering what really happens on such a shoot I decided to also put the movie on my blog. The educational comments might really interest you, but it shows you what goes on during an engagement session.

I gotta leave in a few moments to visit my parents (pancakes, yummieeee !!!!). But, before I leave I want to show you all the slideshow from Leen & Lieven’s wedding day.

I had been looking forward to their wedding for quite some time. For one, they are both from Aalst and like everyone knows, people from Aalst are always fun, pleasant to spend time with, cheerfull, … And second they were the first couple to book their 2008 wedding with me early 2007.

For transportation on their big day they rented a very cool, old timer bus. Perfect to drive around with your friends & family and to avoid parking problems

It was a beautifull, sunny day (something we’ve been lacking the past few months …) and it becase a very fun day for all !

Thank you Leen & Lieven for putting your trust in me ! It was a pleasure getting to know you guys & to shoot your wedding !

After 8 days of snowboarding in Austria it’s time to blow some new life into this blog. I decided to hand this “task” over to Leen & Lieven .
Leen & Lieven live in Aalst & so that’s also where they got married. Not a real home-game for me but since I spend most of my childhood in Aalst I like to think of it as one.

A wedding in the city hall in Aalst always comes with a little surprise : the shoes of Annemie I’m sure some of you know what I mean by that .

Apart from the shoe surprise, it became a really fun day. Hopefully the pictures below give you a nice taste of what’s to come.

At the end of this week I’m finally leaving for my holiday in the snow. I LOVE to snowboard and I’ve been looking forward to this trip for months to recharge my batteries Unfortunately a week of vacation is mostly precedeed by some sleepless nights in order to get as much work finished as possible before leaving …

Syra & Jorgen have had their photos for quite some time now. When I took another look at their slideshow a few moments ago, it was an emotional trip down memory lane for me. A very nice memory of an amazing day who made me smile from one ear to the other . I can only imagine what these images can do for you when they already fill me, your photographer, with all these great warm fuzzy feelings!

Syra & Jorgen, you really thought of everything ! I had the honour to watch my photos in large format, together with your guests, decorating the venue, you had a live harp musician, a live singer, it was awesome !!!! I hope my photos help you cherish these memories for ever & ever !
